Reveal a pin once locked inWith lock-in on: once you lock your guess you can see everyone else who has locked in. Players still deciding see no pins.

Enable power-upsGives players a ⚡ Power-ups menu: costly, one-shot boosts bought with credits (a Hemisphere / Equator 50/50 hint, and Spy a Rival). A credit sink for players with big balances.

Allow the "Spy a Rival" power-upWith power-ups on: lets a player spend credits to reveal a random rival's live pin for the round. Turn off to offer only the harmless hemisphere hints.

Full-screen pause overlayOn: pausing covers the game with a screen. Off: pausing shows only a slim banner — players keep seeing the photo and map.

Allow guessing while pausedOn: players already here can keep guessing while paused (timer stays frozen). Off: guessing is blocked server-side, so it can't be bypassed.

Enable game chatGives players a chat button. Chat history clears at the end of every game.

Only show players in this gameLeaderboard hides registered accounts that haven't scored or guessed this game — you only see people actually playing.

Anti-cheat image guardPlayer-visible: hides the round image when a player switches away or hits PrintScreen; they click Resume to continue. Deters reverse-image lookups.

Anti-cheat loggingSilent: records each tab-out / screenshot event to the Guess log and Behavioural flags below. Works with or without the image guard — leave this on and the guard off to monitor quietly.

Anti-cheat resume delay (seconds)

With the image guard on: after a player clicks Resume, the image stays hidden this long (with a countdown) before returning. Raises the bar against timed screenshots. 0 = instant.

Image sources Tick the providers to draw rounds from. Each round is picked from a random enabled source. Leave at least one on.

Wikimedia photosCreative-Commons landmark & scenery photos.

Street view — 360°Mapillary look-around imagery. Needs the MAPILLARY_TOKEN secret.

Flickr photosGeotagged Creative-Commons photos — huge, varied pool. Needs the FLICKR_API_KEY secret.

Guess map The basemap players drop their pin on. Satellite covers regions where street data is restricted (e.g. China).

Daily auto-scheduleRuns the game automatically each day: start a new game, pause for lunch, resume, then end — all in Darwin time (UTC+9:30, no daylight saving).
